Jeremy Degre is the founder and chief executive officer of Elite A/V | Smart Home & Automation Integration, a Las Vegas-based technology integration firm serving luxury residences and commercial properties throughout Southern Nevada. With nearly 30 years of experience, he has become known not only for designing sophisticated technological systems, but for reimagining what a modern custom integration company can be — one built on education, engineering, transparency, and long-term relationships.
Under his leadership, Elite A/V delivers thoughtfully engineered solutions in home automation, home theaters, enterprise networking, intelligent lighting control, motorized shading, whole-home audio, surveillance, access control, alarm systems, and integrated smart living environments. Rather than following the traditional custom electronics retail model, Jeremy transformed the company’s showroom into a boutique smart home experience center where homeowners, builders, architects, designers, and business owners can explore fully integrated technology in a consultative environment.
Despite the company’s continued growth — including the 2026 acquisition of Pro Audio Home Theater Installation — Jeremy remains personally involved in project design, engineering reviews, and client consultations, believing every customer deserves executive-level involvement throughout the design and integration process. The Story Behind Elite A/V
Elite A/V did not start as a business plan. It started with a teenager taking audio systems apart to understand how they worked — and a conviction, decades later, that clients deserve better than the industry standard.
Mid 1990s
Curiosity For Sound
Long before entering the profession, Jeremy immersed himself in car audio and home audio as a teenager, working alongside older peers on vehicle installations and independently building high-performance systems of his own — sourcing components through catalogs like Crutchfield in an era before online shopping.
1998
Ultimate Electronics, Las Vegas
Jeremy formally entered the industry with Ultimate Electronics, starting in the mobile electronics division before quickly advancing into home theater. Within about a year he rose to installation foreman, overseeing both the car audio and home theater installation divisions across multiple locations — managing field operations and upholding quality standards through a period of intense market demand.
Late 2000s
From technician to owner
Following the company’s closure during the housing recession, Jeremy founded a sole proprietorship, Audio Video Specialist, continuing to deliver custom home theater and integration work while building the business, client-management, and project-execution skills that would define his next chapter.
2013
Elite A/V is founded
Jeremy established Elite A/V | Smart Home & Automation Integration, formalizing a scalable model built on quality, education, and long-term client relationships — and turning decades of field experience into a company defined by craftsmanship, accountability, and documentation.
2019
Trusted on the Strip
Trump International Hotel Las Vegas called on Elite A/V to overhaul the AV backbone of DJT, its fine dining restaurant and lounge — a project that became a nationally published manufacturer case study. (See Featured Project, Section 7.)

A boutique experience center
Rejecting the traditional custom electronics retail model, Jeremy transformed the company’s showroom into a boutique smart home experience center — one of Southern Nevada’s few Control4 Certified Showrooms — where clients and trade partners explore fully integrated technology in a consultative environment.

Growth through acquisition
Elite A/V acquired Pro Audio Home Theater Installation, strengthening the company’s engineering, programming, installation, and customer support capabilities while preserving its commitment to personalized service. The same year, Jeremy was honored by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives.

Trump International Hotel Las Vegas
When Trump International Hotel Las Vegas set out to elevate the guest experience in DJT — its fine dining restaurant and lounge — an earlier AV upgrade had failed to make an impression, limited by the property’s existing infrastructure. The hotel called on Elite A/V to overhaul the system’s backbone.
Elite A/V moved the venue from circuit-based switching to AV-over-IP distribution, relocated a dynamic video wall to a position optimized for sports viewing, shifted control onto the IP network, and delivered a high-performance networked audio system throughout the bar and restaurant. The result: a showcase environment for high-stakes sporting events — and a project published as a national manufacturer case study.

Beyond the Business
Away from Elite A/V, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, exploring emerging technology, enjoying movies and home theater in his own home, and getting outdoors for camping and recreational activities. He is also an automotive enthusiast and the owner of a 1987 Buick GNX #210, as well as a 2002 Acura NSX. His interests also include amateur radio, bowling, disc golf, and relaxing with the same technology and entertainment experiences he has spent his career creating for others.
